This PROFIBUS DP Master module supports complete Master specifications according to IEC 61158 and enables acyclic parameter data transfer via Class 1 or Class 2 DPV1 services. Key features include support for up to 125 slave devices with repeaters, extended diagnostic data, alarm indications and confirmations handling, Multicast and Broadcast telegrams, and PROFIdrive 3.1 compliant parameter operations. The module includes ProSoft Configuration Builder software for easy drag-and-drop network design and monitoring. Up to six modules can be placed in a single rack, with Hot Standby support for up to four modules. Auto baud detection and all standardized rates up to 12 Mbits/s ensure seamless integration into existing automation systems.
