The Sinamics POWER Module PM240-2 is a robust module designed for high-performance operations. It does not include a built-in filter but features a braking chopper. It operates on a 3-phase power supply with a voltage range of 380-480V, offering flexibility with a tolerance of +10%/-10% and a frequency range of 47-63Hz. This module can handle high overload conditions, delivering 11kW for 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds in an ambient temperature range from -10 to +50 degrees Celsius. For low overload situations, it can provide 15kW for 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds within an ambient temperature range of -10 to +40 degrees Celsius. The module has compact dimensions, measuring 355 x 140 x 165mm (HxWxD), and offers IP20 protection. Note that it does not include a control unit or panel and is approved for use with CU firmware version V4.6.
